PRIVATE BETA LIVE · PUBLIC LAUNCH NOVEMBER 2026

YOUR RULES.
ENFORCED.

TradeBound sits next to your trading platform, reads your fills in real time, and enforces the limits you set before the open — up to physically closing your platform when you cross a hard line. Every session recorded. Every trade clipped. Every rule accounted for.

The you of 9:30 decides. The you of 11:04 can't renegotiate.

The failure mode isn't stock picking — it's behavior. Every trader who blew up a green day knew the rules while breaking them. Self-awareness doesn't close the gap between "I know" and "I do." Systems do.

How it works

Choose the rules when you're calm. Enforce them when you're not.

STRICT LOCK

Two deliberate decisions, on purpose

Configure the machinery whenever you like — nothing can close your platform yet. Then a two-second hold arms it: breaches now close the programs on your kill list, today's tier freezes, and unlocking needs the method you chose in advance — a trusted person's password, typed random text, or a time delay. Being green doesn't buy an exception.

PRE-TRADING SESSION

Lock the rails in five minutes

Opens itself weekday mornings: read the room, check yourself, build the plan, pick your tier — Tight, Standard, or Aggressive. Skip it? Fine, but priced: the day defaults to Standard and your discipline score takes the hit.

Honest counting

Reads the fill log your platform already writes — no broker API keys. A trade counts once your position drops below 50% of its peak; keeping one share of a hundred doesn't dodge the counter. Counts survive restarts.

AUTO STOP-LOSS

The stop that fires when your finger won't

Armed on entry from your risk rule, watching the live bid. Bid crosses the stop → your platform's own flatten hotkey fires. Runs in shadow mode first — it earns your trust in a log before it ever acts.

A video clip for every trade

End the session and each trade is already cut — 30 seconds before entry to 30 after exit — with slow-motion, frame-step, and entry/exit markers. A journal says "I chased." The clip shows the candle you clicked.

Grade the day before you see the money

Thirty-second post-trade reviews offer themselves when you go flat; skipped ones wait visibly on the overlay. The End-Session Review opens before the final P&L can rewrite your memory — every rule kept or broken, and a mandatory A/B/C grade that seals the day on your calendar.

Lessons that become limits

Each day becomes one page — stats, plan, reviewed trades, notes in time order — with an AI day summary whose takeaways can be promoted into real limits. Suggestion-only: it never edits your rules for you. Synced to your account, so the lesson is there on your phone tonight, not buried on your desktop.

The safeguards

Nine guards. Three are walls.

Per guard, you choose the loudness — badge, notification, or full-screen takeover. Only three guards can close your platform, and only when Strict Lock is armed. The walls are enforced by an always-on guard service that re-checks every 2 seconds, even if the app is closed.

Warnings vs. walls — deliberate. Cooldown, revenge, and backside are friction: a pause and your own reasoning at the exact moment you'd rather not read it. The three hard limits are walls. An emergency pause suspends enforcement for one minute, once per day, via a tamper-proof ledger.

Honest limitations

What it doesn't do (yet).

No trading product should be trusted on its promises alone — including this one.

LimitationThe honest detail
DAS Trader Pro only, todayTradeBound reads DAS's fill log and drives DAS hotkeys. ThinkorSwim (Schwab) and Webull are in active development — platform order is demand-driven, so say so if you trade something else.
Windows onlyThe app and its guard service are Windows-native (10/11). No macOS version.
Software stop, not a broker orderA beat of latency versus a resting exchange order; needs the machine on. A discipline net alongside a catastrophe stop at your broker — never a replacement.
Two guards are app-enforcedGive-back and consecutive-red lockouts need the app running (and are opt-in). The three hard limits enforce from the guard service even with the app closed.
It can't stop a different deviceThe lockout closes the platform on this machine. Logging into a broker app on your phone to break your own rules is still between you and the mirror.
Your TradeBound account

Your trading self, on the record — and in your pocket.

Enforcement runs on your PC because that's where the trades happen. Everything you learn from them shouldn't be stuck there. Sign in once and your reviews, grades, metrics, and clips sync to your account — so the work of getting better happens wherever you are, not just at the desk where the trades happen.

Review from anywhere ROLLING OUT

Tonight's clips and scorecard on your phone. Grade the day from the couch, tag the trade that got away, and walk into tomorrow's pre-trading session already knowing what to fix.

Your clip library, kept

Every trade's video, backed up and searchable — winners, losers, "tilt examples," "A+ entries." Your PC's drive stops being the single point of failure for a year of evidence.

Context you can't get alone

Your numbers only mean something next to other numbers. Your account puts your discipline score, give-back, and capture rate against an anonymized cohort of TradeBound traders — so "is 74 good?" finally has an answer.

Still yours

Enforcement never depends on a connection — the guard service runs locally, always. Your data exports to CSV anytime, deletes on request, and is never sold to brokers or anyone else. The Privacy Policy says exactly what's stored and why.

Why your data matters

The metrics you're ignoring are the ones that would have saved you.

Most traders start the way most of us did: convinced the edge is in the setup, blind to the fact that the account was being decided by behavior. A broker statement can't show you that. TradeBound is built to.

WHAT A STATEMENT CAN'T SEE

Your psychology has a dataset now

Which tier you picked and why. How you slept. The revenge event at 10:07. The give-back after the green open. The A/B/C grade you gave yourself before the P&L loaded. Nobody has ever collected this next to fills — which is exactly why nobody's been able to learn from it.

WHY YOU CAN'T BORROW SOMEONE ELSE'S

Their data can't fix your day

Another trader's stats describe another trader's nervous system. The pattern that costs you money is only visible in your record — but it only becomes obvious against everyone else's. That's the part you can't build alone, and the part TradeBound is building.

Boardrooms are small accountability groups around one challenge at a time. Leaderboards rank the process — rule adherence and streaks — never money. Illustrative; names are fictional.

Local enforcement at launch. Your account online in phases.

We'd rather tell you the order than pretend it's all done. The desktop app is the product on day one; the web app and sync roll out to members afterward, in this order.

Process metrics from my own TradeBound account. I'll show the P&L too — with the losing months, and broker statements to back it — because a "results" page without the red months is the exact kind of marketing I'm trying not to do. My results are mine; they're not a promise about yours.

I'm a day trader out of southern Indiana. For a long time I lost money the way most people do: not because I couldn't find setups, but because I couldn't stay out of my own way.

I cut winners the second they went green and held losers hoping. I blew through my own max-trade cap by 10:00 and told myself the next one was different. I gave back green mornings by lunch. I revenge-traded a red open more times than I'll admit here. And the part that still bothers me most: I had no idea that those were the numbers that mattered. I tracked P&L. I never tracked the behavior that was producing it — because nobody told me it could be tracked, and no tool I'd paid for was built to.

So I built one. Selfishly. TradeBound started as a way to make the version of me at 9:30 the one in charge at 11:04 — a program that would count my trades honestly, warn me while I could still listen, and, when I armed it, close DAS on me when I crossed a line I'd drawn myself. It's been running on my own machine every session since.

What's happening right now is the only marketing I trust. I'm trading with it live, and the numbers on the left are mine, updated as I go — the good weeks and the ones I'd rather not post. If the app stops working for me, you'll see it here first.

Who this is for — and who it isn't

If you already have a strategy that works when you follow it, and your problem is the following-it part, TradeBound was built for exactly you. If you're brand new, I want to be straight: this won't teach you to trade, and enforcement only helps once you have rules worth enforcing. It works with DAS Trader Pro today, on Windows, and there are rough edges I list on this page on purpose. Some newer traders will get less out of it than I'd like. I'd rather tell you that than take your $99.

Why there's a community at all

Because I like building things, and because I traded better every single time someone was watching. The community is the second half of the tool: people working on the same problem, keeping score on process instead of money, and reaching back for the next person the way a few people reached back for me. Nobody here sells signals. We show each other our clips.

What I actually want

More transparency about why traders lose. The numbers are brutal and the industry mostly profits from you not knowing them. I'd like every person who joins to understand their own behavior well enough to make a real decision about whether trading is for them — and, if it is, to have something standing between them and tilt. If that's you, come in. If it's not, the studies up top are free.

— Shane

The edge

Discipline is the edge. There isn't another one.

Sticky notes on the monitor. Printouts taped to the desk. Rules on a poster on the wall. I've done all of it. I'm not saying it doesn't work — it works right up until the moment you need it, which is the one moment you'll ignore it. A rule you can renegotiate at 11:04 isn't a rule. It's a suggestion.

That's the whole idea here: rules that enforce themselves whether you feel like it or not, at the exact moment they're needed. That's what turns a trader who knows the rules into one who follows them.

TradeBound won't make you profitable. There's no secret edge in here. That part is on you. You can have every rule in the world and a bad trader is still a bad trader — just a disciplined one now.

So know why you took the entry. Know why it worked, or didn't. Record and study the trades you didn't take. Conviction and confidence come from mastering the craft, and the craft takes reps. There's no shortcut for experience. Sit at the desk and do the work.

Most traders lose because they're trying to be a part-time fish in a pool of full-time sharks. Study. Reflect. Learn. Repeat.

The markets reward emotional stability, not intellect.

Fair questions

Asked and answered.

Will it really close my trading platform?

Yes — that's the point, and it's opt-in twice over. Strict Lock takes a deliberate two-second hold to arm, and you choose your unlock method in advance while you're calm. Armed, the three hard limits are enforced by an always-on guard service — relaunching your platform during a lockout just closes it again. Prefer warnings only? Every guard's loudness is configurable, and nothing can lock you out until you arm it.

Is this a signals service?

No — the opposite. TradeBound never tells you what to buy or sell and never predicts the market. It enforces and measures the rules you set for yourself. All education and tooling is for informational purposes only; nothing here is investment advice.

What data does TradeBound collect, and why?

The app records what you actually do: fills, round trips, rule breaches, your pre-trading check-ins, post-trade reviews, grades, and the clip of each trade. That record is the product — it's how you see the behavior a broker statement can't show. What you sync to your account is stored on our servers so you can review from your phone, keep your clip library safe, and eventually see your numbers against an anonymized cohort. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what's stored.

Can I use it without syncing?

Yes. Enforcement, recording, review, and the journal all run locally — the guard service never depends on a connection. Sync is on by default because it's what unlocks phone review, backups, boardrooms, and cohort context. You can turn it off, export everything to CSV, or ask us to delete your account data at any time.

Who can see my clips and stats?

You. Boardroom members see what the challenge shares — discipline scores and streaks, not your P&L or your clips — unless you choose to share a clip for review. We never sell your data, and we never share it with brokers. Cohort insights are built from anonymized, aggregated data.

Do leaderboards rank P&L?

Never. Leaderboards and boardroom challenges rank the process: rule adherence, discipline score, review streaks. Ranking money would reward the exact behavior TradeBound exists to stop. The trader who followed every rule on a red day outranks the one who broke three and got lucky.

What's a boardroom?

A small accountability group — a handful of traders working on the same thing for a few weeks ("no chasing," "no trades before 9:45," "take every planned exit"). You see each other's process scores and streaks, compare notes, and have a reason to hold the line when nobody else is watching. Most of us traded better when someone was; boardrooms make that structural.

Is there a phone app?

Phone review starts as a mobile web dashboard — today's scorecard, clips to review, your boardroom — with native apps considered later. Enforcement itself stays on the Windows PC where you trade.

Is the auto stop-loss a broker order?

No — it's a software stop that fires your platform's own flatten hotkey. Nothing rests on the level-2 to get flushed in a stop-run, but it reacts to the quote on screen and needs your machine on: a beat of latency versus a resting exchange order. Run it in shadow mode until its log has earned your trust, and keep a catastrophe stop at your broker.

Which platforms does it work with?

DAS Trader Pro today — TradeBound reads DAS's fill log and drives DAS hotkeys. ThinkorSwim (Schwab) and Webull are in active development, and platform order is demand-driven: tell us what you trade at support@tradeboundtrading.com.

What do I need to run it?

A Windows 10/11 PC and DAS Trader Pro. No broker API keys, no account linking.

What happens if I cancel?

Your local data stays on your PC and keeps working for review. Synced data stays available to export for 30 days after cancellation, then is deleted. Founding-member pricing ends with the subscription, so cancelling and returning means the current price.

When does it launch?

Public launch is planned for November 2026. Waitlist members get access first, and the first 50 get the founding-member price.
